Do you offer Black and White photography at the wedding?
Yes, I offer a mix of Colour and Black and White photographs, I also offer sepia photographs. Sepia photography uses brown tones instead of greys as seen in black and white photography. For examples of different photography colours please see my website or the studio north website. How many photographs do I get?
I offer a variety of wedding collections which include different amounts of wedding pictures, for example if I take 40 photographs then you would only pay for 35 to ensure you get the best pictures to choose from. I do not take hundreds of pictures on your wedding day, I only take the number of pictures necessary as it is your wedding day and you should have the rest of the day to enjoy yourself. Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes. All the wedding collections include a G F Smith leather bound wedding album. You have the option to upgrade the standard album to either a deluxe album or an album of your choice for an extra cost. I have a selection of wedding albums which can be viewed either before your wedding or after. How soon do I have to book?
I suggest that you book as soon as possible, once you have organised where and when you are getting married. If you would like any advice on where to get married, or what services to use then you can also contact me before. Can I meet you?
For an appointment to see any of my previous weddings or to discuss your specific requirements, please contact me, and I will arrange a meeting with you before your wedding if possible. If you are unable to meet me then please call me and I will be happy to go through your requirements over the phone What are the advantages of hiring a professional wedding photographer?
I will arrive at your wedding promptly, and get the results to you on time. I will always try to put you at ease on your wedding day only taking photos you are comfortable with. I am used to working with individuals, couples, and groups and I try to make the formal photography go as smoothly as possible. You should always trust your photographer as they are going to produce the photographs you are going to keep forever. I don’t like being posed for photographs what is the best way around this?
A lot of photographs are posed but when you see the final image you can tell if the person was comfortable or not. Hopefully from my pictures you can see how happy and relaxed the couples are and how they enjoyed their day. It is my job to make sure you enjoy getting your photo taken and that you enjoy your wedding day. How much time will the photographer spend at my wedding?
I don’t want to take up your whole day so I will take all the photos during the day so that you can relax and enjoy the rest of the evening. Do you use a digital camera?
Yes. All my pictures are taken on a digital camera. I enjoy using this format as it means you can store the photographs easily and it makes it easier to create different styles. It also means I can produce original designs for wedding albums as well change colour images to black and white without having to change film on the day. Can I get copies of my pictures to give to friends and family or can they buy them seperately?
Yes. I always enclose order forms with your wedding album so that friends and family can look through your album and choose which pictures they would like copies of. All my pictures are copyrighted so you will not be able to get the prints copied yourself, but you will be able to contact me after your wedding, as I keep a digital record of all my photographs. Even if you want copies of the pictures in years to come you can always get in touch with me and I will be able to get them for you. Who chooses the pictures that go in the album?
I will choose the best pictures from your wedding day and then you can pick which ones you would like to keep. If you like more photographs than what’s included in your wedding package then you can always buy them as well at a lower price.
